Pilates with Paula Overview

  • Services: Private (solo), Duo (2 ppl), or Small Group (3-8 ppl) Sessions

  • Register: Sign-up for a session in our booking app. Payment due at time of booking

  • Suitable For: All levels from novice to advanced, all ages teenager to elderly.

  • Location: Paula’s home studio in Orinda, your Lamorinda / East Bay home, or virtual on Google Meet

  • Options: Choose from classical mat or equipment (e.g. reformer) pilates. You can also incorporate other exercise approaches, e.g. Duos sometimes choose to focus on pilates + cardio or strength intervals

  • Rates - Private and Semi-Private: $60/private session $70/duo session (=$35 per person) payable via Venmo or Paypal

  • Rates - Small Group Mat Sessions: $25/person (3ppl) or $20/person (4 ppl or more)

  • Methods: Reformer &/or Mat Pilates incorporating pilates apparatus (Wunda chair, jumpboard, box, ball, pole, ring, leg weights) & other equipment (e.g. hand weights, resistance bands, BOSU trainer, foam roller, glider discs, balance props) where appropriate to support your fitness goals

  • Benefits: Pilates is FUN, effective, and safe! Improve strength, range of motion, balance and coordination. If you’d like to break a sweat, we can make that happen too :D. Pilates is also excellent for rehab after injury or surgery, as well as during pre- and postnatal periods.

  • Your Trainer: Paula is a Pilates Instructor and has completed BASI comprehensive teacher training in mat + apparatus Pilates (reformer, cadillac, chair, etc) and written exams. She is currently completing apprentice hours required for her 500 hour certification. Paula is a board-certified health coach (NBC-HWC) and holds certs in personal training (CPT), group fitness (GFI), & behavior change (BCS). She’s also a health & wellness nut with a graduate degree in Public Health from Cal (Go Bears!)
